Just a few weeks ago, the newest ship in the AmaWaterways fleet was christened in Vilshofen, Germany. The AmaSonata is now available to book on cruises along the Danube with a selection of itineraries to choose from.
There was much excitement at the christening ceremony, as there is when any new ship launches, as the co-founders of AmaWaterways – Rudi Schreiner and Kristin Karst – welcomed Brenda Kyllo of the Canadian Automobile Association to name the ship in her role as godmother.
The AmaSonata is one of the most modern river cruise ships in the whole world, reflecting the new wave of design with a wealth of features you previously could not have hoped to enjoy on a river cruise. Expect multiple dining venues, special salon and spa services including massages and a gym, a heated pool with swim-up bar and bicycles you can hire for no charge to help you explore ports on bike as well as on foot.
If you want to be one of just 164 passengers on-board the ship for one of her sailings along the Danube, all you need to do is give our dedicated river cruise specialists a call and we’ll find you the perfect deal.
