Titan Tours has launched the new brochure for river cruise in 2014 with some interesting new additions to the line. Passengers now have the widest range of choice for cruises and destinations that they’ve ever been able to select from when booking a cruise with Titan.
The usual popular European rivers are included in the options, such as the Rhine, the Danube and the Douro, along with rivers further afield including the Nile, the Yangtze and the beautiful Amazon region.
However the most interesting news is the addition of two new rivers to the Titan Tours portfolio, giving guests new and exciting experiences to enjoy. The first of these is the Dnieper, a river in Ukraine that’s just starting to become popular amongst the river cruise world, which lets passengers explore the sights of the capital city of Kiev and the beauty of Odessa, with various fascinating ports in-between.
But the one that really interests me is the news that the cruise line will be offering sailings on the Oder, a river in Germany that no other major cruise line currently offers exclusive sailings on, making it something unique to try.
Cruises on the Oder begin in Berlin, the capital city, so already there’s much to see as your holiday begins including the incredible historic sights, showing the formation of the city, the effects of the two World Wars and of course the remains of the Berlin Wall. Once passengers board the ship they’ll explore the popular Pomerania region in the north of the country, including Ahlbeck, Gohren and Eberswalde and the opportunity to see the great scenery at the Jasmund National Park, including impressive cliffs.
As usual passengers have the option of enjoying both standard packages with flights and those that don’t utilise air transport, if you would rather travel by coach or rail. And then there’s the Titan VIP Home Departure Service too, making each of these a relaxing, comfortable and convenient experience. It’s an exciting time if you’re looking ahead to river cruises in 2014.
