In what is sure to be exciting news for anyone wanting to explore Cambodia and Vietnam by river in luxury, Scenic Tours has recently announced that it plans to launch the all-suite Scenic Spirit on The Mekong River at the start of 2016.
The 68-passenger vessel will have 34 suites, all of which will offer balconies to maximize views of the river as well as luxurious accommodations offering a separate living room and bathroom. They’ll differ in size, from a generous 350 square feet right up to a palatial 865 square feet. That honour goes to the aptly-named Royal Panorama Suite, which is set to be one of the largest suites on any river cruise vessel, offering such luxurious amenities as an extra-large bathtub, rainfall shower, walk-in dressing room and Jacuzzi.
Once aboard, cruisers will have a choice of four different dining options; a la carte, casual, speciality and also in-room service. They’ll also be able to enjoy such amenities as a sun-deck with an open-air cinema, resort-style pool deck and bar, sauna, steam room and also a dedicated butler service.
The river’s all-inclusive Mekong packages will range from eight to 27 days, with all meals, drinks, excursions, gratuities, airport transfers and on-board Wi-Fi included in the price you pay.
