Award-winning river cruise line Tauck has recently announced the names of its two new vessels, which are set to join the fleet in 2016.
Accurately summing up both the line’s stylish ships and the experiences they offer, the two Inspiration Class vessels will be named Grace and Joy – the winning entries in a contest entered by the line’s employees to pick the names of the two new river cruise ships.
Like their sister ships, both vessels will be 443 feet long and cater to 130 passengers, and their introduction will bring the total number of Tauck vessels to nine. The production of the new vessels is the latest move in an on-going expansion for the line, which will also be introducing a new 118-passenger vessel Esprit in the spring.
Tauck’s Inspiration Class vessels truly live up to their name, offering stylish lofted lower deck cabins with higher ceilings, a raised seating area and expansive windows. Like their sister ships, Grace and Joy will boast a total of twenty-two 300 square foot suites with French balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows and walk-in wardrobes. In what is great news for solo travellers, Tauck will also be reserving four of each vessel’s 150 square foot cabins for the use of single travellers.
