The Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is about to get bigger following the cruise line’s announcement that there will be four new ships to launch before 2021!
Four new ships for Uniworld
The ships will replace existing vessels across destinations such as Egypt, Portugal, Vietnam and Russia. Each of the new additions will be custom-built and designed in line with the Super Ships currently sailing in Europe, alongside unique details akin to the destination which they will be sailing in.
The new ships will be sailing along the Nile, Douro, Mekong and Russia, with the first three released in 2020 and the last in 2021.
This news also comes alongside the announcement that the cruise line will also be renovating and upgrading the River Countess – a vessel which currently sails along the Po River in Italy. Following her refurbishment, she will become a permanent fixture of the Venice Lagoon for guests to enjoy an intensive Venetian experience.
Ellen Bettridge, Uniworld’s President and CEO said:
“We are delighted to bring our unique and elegantly designed one-of-a-kind vessels to the rivers in Egypt, Portugal, Vietnam and Russia for the first time.
“We strive to provide our discerning guests with an unforgettable river cruise experience both on and off shore, therefore we have plans to offer our one-of-a-kind ships on our popular itineraries along the Nile, Douro, Mekong and the Volga.
“With a beautiful upgrade of the River Countess also planned for 2020, our brand is truly innovating and these new developments demonstrates that Uniworld will always be ahead of the competition as the luxury leader in river cruising.”
We can’t wait to see what these four new additions will look like and feature! Count down to 2020 begins!
