Amadeus Cruises has launched the newest ship in its fleet, the Amadeus Silver, in a ceremony in Amsterdam. The Amadeus Silver is the longest ship in the fleet, meaning a spacious experience for all 180 passengers that can be accommodated on-board.
The ship will sail on some of the classic rivers in Europe, including the Rhine, the Main and the Danube. Various itinerary lengths will be available too, ranging from short breaks of four days up to longer holidays lasting a couple of weeks, meaning there’ll be plenty of options with something to suit everyone.
On-board you’ll find a dedicated Austrian coffee shop named Café Vienna, which serves specialty dishes, snacks and drinks, as well as an open-air River Terrace. There’s a two-level fitness suite, a salon, the Panorama Restaurant, a sundeck with its own putting green, and a private dining room for special occasions.
The ship has 77 standard cabins which all feature French balconies. There are also 12 suites for the most luxurious experience as you sail along these rivers, which all have walk-out balconies with an outdoor seating area – the perfect place to watch the world as you sail by.
Other ships in the fleet sail on the Rhone and Saone Rivers as well as through the waterways of the Netherlands and Belgium.
