Scenic River Cruises are welcoming Dame Darcey Bussell on-board with the launch of a dance-themed river cruise.

The eight-day sailing will begin on 8th April 2020 and will cruise along the Danube River, visiting Vienna, Budapest and Nuremberg. It will offer the perfect combination of romance and scenery in some of Europe’s most classical music and dance cities.

Along the way, there will be a chance to visit the medieval city of
Český Krumlov; Mozart’s birthplace in Salzburg and the fairytale city of Vienna.

Guests can also enjoy an exclusive, private-evening event in Vienna which will be hosted by Darcey herself. Here they will visit the opulent Palais Liechtenstein. Here, performances of Strauss, Mozart and Beethoven will take place, as well as classical ballet and Viennese Waltz.

After here, the itinerary will then move down the river to Budapest, known for its museums and galleries. While here, Darcey will host a conversation reflecting on her life and career, followed by cocktails.
