If you like to keep up with our blog, you’ll remember when we broke the exciting news of ultra-luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises entering the world of river cruising in spectacular style, with its similarly luxurious river yachts. Well now, the line has just revealed details of an exclusive event to mark its much-anticipated entry into the world of river cruising.
Every guest who sets sail along the Danube on-board Crystal Mozart will enjoy a private evening invite to Vienna’s stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site Belvedere Palace. During the evening, Crystal guests will be granted private access to the palace’s stunning art collections, including the finest collection of works by Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka and Egon Schiele. Following extensive viewings, each evening will culminate in a live concert in the palace’s most magnificent room, the opulent Marble Hall, featuring compositions by Strauss and Mozart.
Following the extensive artistic tour and concert performance, guests will return to Crystal Mozart via Vienna’s historic Ringstrasse, the celebrated circular road which is home to so many of the city’s most stunning examples of architecture, rounding out this very special artistic and cultural treat.
This signature event will be offered on three different Danube river itineraries, and will be available to book soon, when the line unveils its full range of shore excursions for its debut river cruise season. There’s no need to worry about rushing to book however, as very helpfully, the line has announced that owing to the well, palatial setting of the excursion, all of Crystal Mozart’s 160 guests can be accommodated on the excursion.
Crystal Mozart is due to set sail on her maiden voyage on 13th July, so watch this space for more details.
