Due to commence in November 2018, the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) River Cruise Excellence Awards recognise those who contribute to the ever-growing river cruise industry.

The association stated that a record number of 210,400 British travellers booked a river cruise in 2017, having grown 21% from the year before!

Earlier this month, CLIA revealed its finalists for the many categories of awards including ‘Best Overall Performance’ and ‘Best River Cruise Newcomer’.

The award’s ceremony will be held on the 10th November in Paris, where CLIA will also announce the winner of the ‘River Cruise Agent of the Year’.

CLIA’s UK & Ireland Director, Andy Harmer said:

“This awards ceremony celebrates the continued success of the river cruise sector and recognises the individuals and businesses that make a huge contribution to helping this industry grow. All finalists should feel extremely proud of the hard work and dedication they put into this sector and we look forward to celebrating their impressive achievements.”
