Due to set sail with the rest of the fleet in 2019, AmaMagna will be setting a whole new level of excellence for AmaWaterways when she debuts.
Newly-released 2020 AmaMagna itineraries
The cruise line has released its 2020 itineraries, featuring two new itineraries for AmaMagna, as well as more land extensions and an expanded programme for the ship.
Managing Director, Stuart Perl said:
“We are thrilled to be able to offer our guests even more choice for 2020. Our goal is to consistently offer the best range of cruises on offer and I have no doubt that the new additions will prove popular. The new product will of course be by our unparalleled service, award winning fine dining, luxury accommodation and continued focus on offering wellness activities both on-board and on shore.”
Just a year after her departure, AmaMagna will begin to sail along the Danube river, including the Gems of Southeast Europe itinerary which visits Budapest in Hungary and Romania’s Giurgiu and stops at fascinating sites such as Belogradchik Rocks and the UNESCO-designated Rock-Hewn Churches of Ivanovo.
AmaMagna will also join other ships in the fleet on a 14-night Grand Danube sailing from Viloshofen, Germany and Giurgui, Romania. Travelling to seven countries, the itinerary sails through the Iron Gates between Serbia and Romania.
Other new 2020 itineraries also feature sailings on-board AmaDante, the seven-night Treasures of the Main & Rhine which sails from Nuremberg to Amsterdam. This new itinerary will be packaged with an optional three-night, pre-cruise land programme in Prague.
Another new itinerary is the Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle, which sails from Amsterdam to Luxembourg. There is also an option to add a two-night stay in Amsterdam before embarking on a seven-night cruise through the UNESCO-designated Rhine and Moselle valleys.
Brand new ship for AmaWaterways
AmaMagna will measure twice the size of a traditional European river cruise ship, allowing for more personal space in the large suites and offering four tempting dining venues including Al Fresco, Jimmy’s Wine Bar, The Chefs Table and the main restaurant.
There will also be new amenities such as the Zen Wellness Studio and innovative water sports platform, complete with a sundowner vessel for complimentary tours of the Danube.
