Leave the city this morning and be immersed in nature in the World Heritage-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park. The largest national park in Croatia, it’s famous for its 16 sparkling lakes connected by underground aquifers and tumbling waterfalls. It’s an easy walk along a network of paths that skirt the rocky shores or cross over the jewel-like waters.
