With close ties to Paris and a house in St Tropez, there was only ever going to be one choice when it came to Uniworld’s guest of honour – Dame Joan Collins. In an exciting ceremony on the banks of the Seine, Dame Joan professed her love for the City of Light and cemented her place as ‘godmother’:
“I hold France and its City of Light close to my heart, and now, thanks to Uniworld, my ties to the beautiful country are even closer,” she said. “I am honoured to be the godmother of the SS Joie de Vivre, and welcome guests from all over the world to fall in love with Paris just as I have.”
